Creating Legacy

I've been looking back at old photos lately. As a photographer I have the luxury of having an archive of images that I can go back to, to look at and both see how far I've come and to be inspired for where I'm going. It's always interesting to see where I've come from.

Recently, however, I've been thinking about how having that ability to reflect is more than a luxury. It's a gift and having something tangible to hold in your hands to cherish and share is a truly incredible thing. Right now I'm working on a special project for a client where I get to make that gift a reality. It's really had me nostalgic about my work and my girls and how the photos I take are a part of not just our story, but a legacy that will last longer than us all.

What's your legacy?
